BioStar 2 is a web-based, open, and integrated security platform that provides comprehensive functionality for access control, time & attendance management, visitor management. It encrypts all personal data available and supports both SDKs and web APIs to integrate BioStar 2 with third-party software. In addition, users can control BioStar 2 platform remotely with the mobile app for BioStar 2 and manage a mobile access card that you can use to access sites.

Visitor Management

Supports visitor applications and approvals. It also sets up visitable areas using the Visitor Management Portal.

Flexible Architecture System

Supports both centralized and distributed systems and can thereby provide an optimal system.

Optimal Access Control Solution

Supports all access control features such as door/elevator/zone control, graphic map, server matching, image logs, and audit trail.

Flexible Time & Attendance Management Solution

Allows users to set various work rules and create personalized time & attendance reports, and timesheet calendar view and setting fixed/flexible/floating shift are also supported.

Mobile Access

Supports a management system of Mobile Access, a mobile access card which allows users to access doors or facilities using smartphone as a credential.

Remote Control

Provides user registration, real-time alarm system, and access control in the BioStar 2 Mobile application.

System Integration Support

Supports platform integration based on RESTful Web APIs and SDK-based hardware integration (BioStar 2 API, BioStar 2 Device SDK, Suprema G-SDK).

Cybersecurity

Encrypts not only personal data used for authentication such as passwords, fingerprint templates and face templates, but all available data that may be linked to an individual. For more details, please refer to Cybersecurity.
