Delivery set
- turnstile with built-in electronics
- RC-panel
- protective canopy (optional)
- foundation frame (optional)
RTD-16 Full height rotor turnstile is designed for access control at facilities with increased security requirements and the need for complete overlap of passage zone. It is possible to operate the turnstile in the lock-chamber mode.
The canopy protects the turnstile against precipitation and climbing over the turnstile. The canopy and the turnstile form a single construction.
The turnstile design provides two options for connecting power and control cables from external devices: from below (through a special cable duct) or from above (through the top channel), which is an advantage when mounting turnstiles in one row. Up to six turnstiles can be installed in the same row without gaps with the upper transit cabling, and at the same time, it is possible to use the standard RTC-16 canopy.
This series of turnstiles can be used both inside buildings and as part of perimeter security systems.
To simplify and improve the quality of installation, a foundation frame is provided. The additional foundation frame allows installing the turnstile even on unstable ground.
The turnstile is equipped with built-in LED passage permission and denial indicators. Additional outputs for connecting remote indicators are provided.
The RTD-16 series turnstiles can operate as stand-alone units from RC-panel or WRC or as a part of an access control system (ACS). The turnstile operation modes are controlled independently for each passage direction.
The turnstile also features:
- walkway downlights for each passage zone, LED indicators built into the top channel
- blocking of the reverse rotation when turning the rotor at more than 60° angle
- automatic unblocking of the rotors by the Fire Alarm emergency signal
If necessary (for instance, upon power failure), two built-in mechanical locks (for each passage direction) allow quickly opening the turnstile with the key.
The turnstiles can operate in two operation modes: pulse and potential. Galvanic decoupling of the turnstile outputs from an ACS controller is provided.
The low power consumption for the turnstile allows using a safety voltage.
The turnstile can also be completed with a full height gate with electromechanical lock and railing systems, produced in the same design.
